As I work through the incredible journey of the CBR Project, I have found and explored a few places that I may blog about. A few weeks ago my family and I ventured out on a hike to Prairie State Park. Here we were able to see bison grazing on a prairie just like they would have hundreds of years ago before they were eradicated from the Great Plains. Even though Buffalo are not extinct, the habitat that they once roamed is no more, and this park is the last remnant of what was.
